Solid spot on Thayer street for drinks and Greek food. We have had some great experiences at the bar where their Greek red wines are reasonably priced and delicious. The spanakopita appetizer is tasty as are their salads. My love enjoys their lamb and chicken dishes. They have a 10 percent discount for Brown faculty and staff, which is nice. Great spot to come before or after events at Brown.

It was sooooo hot out! So of course we popped in for a libation. The A.C. didn't hurt either. ;-) This is such lovely restaurant. Soothing deep blue walls and photos of Greece. We were immediately approached upon entering by a host. Staff here were all very friendly. They seem to make a good team. I ordered a Hay Maker from their cocktail menu and my SO chose a Whalers draft. The cocktail was very well made. Our bartender chatted a bit and checked in on us often. The whole restaurant was very clean including the restrooms. Based on the service we received and the ambiance I'm glad we stumbled upon this spot and hope to return soon for a meal. Parking is on street.

Went here last night for date night with another couple. 1st time here, and it was good. Nothing was spectacular, but it was good. Service was nice, food was hot and fresh. I ordered the fried cheese for my app which was good, and the other couple ordered the grilled octopus. I ordered the mushroom gnocchi which was nice. Come and you'll get some good food!

I ordered the hummus starter, greek fries, chicken gyro and lobster raviolis. the sauce on the raviolis was so creamy and rich. garlic rich in most of their food. Fries with cheese weren't overwhelming. crunchy and soft in the center. The gyro was also good. the chicken wasn't dry and all the flavors complimented each other. service was very fast and the staff were polite. Hummus was okay could've used more seasoning. It was somewhat plain and bland. Spinach on the raviolis were very salty.

I used to visit Andreas white frequently when my sister was a student at Brown. Many years have passed, and I hadn't had a chance to revisit (they were also renovating the restaurant last year), but I stopped in for lunch today and it was just as good as I remembered! I arrived right around noon with a colleague and the restaurant was almost empty but by the time we left a little before 1pm there was a line practically out the door! My colleague and I both had the Greek souvlaki sandwich (made with grilled pork). It was delicious, although some of the pork felt a little dry because it was cut so thin and grilled quite well. It was still tasty though! The rice and veggies were also very tasty. My colleague got Greek salad as her side and enjoyed it as well. Definitely looking forward to adding Andreas back into the lunch rotation soon!

Needed to find a quick brunch near Brown, and landed on Andreas as an option. Overall, really excellent food and service. I ordered the 237 omelet which came with a bagel and house fries, which tasted like a home cooked omelet. Unfortunately the only hot sauce they had was tapatio, and they didn't have salsa but the ketchup worked! Another friend ordered eggs Benedict and the yolk was completely raw, and it fell out of the poached egg. She did like the hollandaise sauce and the house fries though! My friend ordered a gyro off of the lunch menu and luckily she really enjoyed it. So much so that the wanted the recipe to the rice and mentioned that it might have been one of the best meals she had in Rhode Island. So if not the brunch, definitely come for the lunch.
